42 Pack Magic Twist Flex Flexi Rods Foam Hair Curlers

If you're anything like me, over the years your hair care collection may have accumulated into foam rods on natural hair something that might be considered moderately alarming. To be fair, my hair was previously styled before taking this picture, causing a lot of the frizz, but you can still see that the curls are a bit puffy, frizzy, and undefined. Most recommend starting with dry, stretched hair when installing flexi-rods. Keeping in your rods, or flexi-rods, or twists in for longer than that Okay, they're dry” moment usually sets the hair and curls better and elongates the duration of your hold (P.S. heatless drying).

I'm still debating on flexi rods or curlformers. Trust me, having half dry curls doesn't do you any good when removing the rods. I tried to have them air dry several times, but to no avail my hair would always be damp when I had to take the rods out. It's not true that you won't get some sort of curl if you install flexi rods onto your completely dry hair, however, using flexi rods on wet or damp hair will produce fuller and longer lasting results.

Due to the fact that I want my styles to last me the longest time, I will plan accordingly and make sure to not take those damn things down for a couple of hours past ‘they're dry' 😀 Having your hair stretched and curled and left in this state for a while, really elongates your hold after take down.

Get the style you want without the hassle with these EZGO Magic Twist Foam Hair Curlers. Once uncoiled, the rods easily slide away from your hair as long as your hair is completely dry. In this video, Toni of MyNaturalSistas explained how to achieve a smooth, heatless roller set.

This can be achieved by using a handheld or sit under a dryer or simply letting hair air dry overnight. Using a tail comb, take small sections of your hair and wrap them around the rods from tip to root. Either way, the most important thing is to ensure that your hair is completely dry.

Then, unwind the flexi rod in a counter-clockwise motion around the curl until the two are completely separated. Flexi Rods are the foam rollers that bend and lock in place. Let me tell you, I have been trying to Flexi Rod my hair since before I decided to go natural.

I got my hair straightened way too many times last year and now I have inches of heat damage to deal with. I started on dry natural hair and, starting from the back, sectioned off a medium sized section. Once the strand is fully wrapped, bend the rod to ensure the ends of your strands are secure and that the hair doesn't unravel.
